Del`s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant in Pismo Beach

Okay, so the food is great although ingredients can be purchased at any Smart & Final. Google is saying that there is no dine-in option available at this point, and I am hoping that this is the case, seeing as I was hired as a dishwasher before being let go the very next day, and I was shocked to see how many plates that were considered "clean" enough for customer use were encrusted with many stubborn bits of food. Gross, right? Apparently they did not want me to do a quality job, and I was obviously taking too long by their standards. I'm sorry, but I just thought I'd DO A THOROUGH JOB, seeing as how we are all dealing with the ramifications of the novel coronavirus. So yeah, I would suggest getting your food delivered, but then I must have the general public know this, that one of their long-time cooks, Andrew Ward, had no problem smoking meth in the pantry when everyone else was gone. I can't make this up, you guys. Truth really is stranger than fiction.

Great pizza, good atmosphere, very friendly staff!

Pizza was delicious. Great friendly service. Very clean. Will make this one of my favorite spots. The pizza when you get it delivered is already cold and does NOT taste good. Like if it's been sitting there for a long time.

Pizza and wings were bomb! I got the order to go, they forgot to add utensils for the salad. The salad was good but I thought the meats n cheese should have been cut in pieces, olives, pepercinnis, cherry tomatoes and artichokes were added on the side. Would definitely go back for the pizza and wings.

Del's is a must visit, either by delivery on in person! For about 30 years, every time we come to the Pismo area, we dine here. They are very consistent. We were surprised to see they had moved but that has not had an effect on their quality. Their pizza is delicious, their salads are fresh, and their rolls are awesome. We don't venture much outside these three things, but I'm sure anything would be good.Note! Hours need to be updated on google!

Texas A&M Rugby very much enjoyed the food and hospitality at Del’s. Would recommend to anyone looking for some CA pizza.

Recommended by a friend, and would recommend to ANYONE looking for a rather authentic italian menu in the heart of Pismo Beach. Menu is more than just pizza and pasta, but that's what they do best. Tables are a bit close together in this cozy atmosphere, but still private enough for conversation. Staff was attentive. Even with a full restaurant the wait time was reasonable.

Our family loved this pizza place. Great taste and quality of dough. Cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the cheesy bread! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Been trying new local places during this shelter in place order. Got the special one topping pie. Wow amazing!. Everyone from the young lady taking our to the gentleman on the phone were very helpful and kind. We waited outside for our pie and brought it right out to us. And yes pie was amazing! Definitely stopping again.

BBQ chicken pizza and the Chicken Alfredo was excellent as well as the complimentary rolls and honey butter. All delicious and the service was great also.

Good food but slow service

Not your typical pizza. They are not afraid to use some spices. Great pasta dishes too. Some people come just for the delicious dinner rolls. They would be really great with butter. Unfortunately, they don't serve that here. You can get whipped honey butter or margarine. It would take so little to make these so much better. I can't say I recall ever having a better pizza though. Even the chewy crust was good.

First time eating at Del's Pizzera. I ordered a take out pepperoni & sausage Calzone. I only got sausage? Not very good , soggy, and way too expensive for what you get at $16.70. I will not return!

Love Dell's. Great food nice, nice people. Bernie is great. We always try to get Joey as our server. He does an awesome job. It is simply a great place to have meal

Watched them purposely not answer the phone along with placing the phone on clean utensils and when asked why they cannot answer they stated it’s too busy in here. Over 50% of tables were empty. Staff is rude.

Good NY style Pizza. They do delivery toShell Beach. Friendly & nice service.The sit down meals are good. Ambience& musty odor drives one to take out.

Used to be 5 star, but the quality is not the same, some items tasted like they changed the recipe.

Great bread rolls and salad. Plus the pizza was really good! Tried 3 kinds! Great atmosphere!! Patio with a out door heater. Was a wall by the bathrooms with celebs/famous people who have ate there with the owner! (That's my guess who the lady was in the pictures)! Also very clean neatly decorated bathroom! Just saying. Male waiters were nice and helpful to our group of 15+! Female waitresses.. not as much! But as a whole 5 ☆!

The salad we shared was fresh and crisp. The ranch dressing was very good. The picture was a medium sized which was plenty for both of us. The pepperoni was spicy but not too spicy and the sauce had a very good flavor. The pizza dough was especially good. It would satisfy people that like a thin crust and those who like a thicker crust because it was then in the middle but went to thick towards the edges. Would definitely recommend Del's.

Long time Klondike’s customer, I now see better customer service and food satisfaction from Del’s Pizzeria at their new location is Pismo Beach. Also... the rolls were on point as always.

Best pizza I have ever had! The service is great.

My family and I were staying in the area for my husbands offsite company meeting. We asked for recommendations for a pizza place and were told about Dels. All I can say is AWESOME!! DELICIOUS!! My kids, my hubby and I just loved it. Next time we are in the area and wanting pizza, for sure we will be visiting Dels.

Everything was fantastic! Our server was enthusiastic and attentive. The bread you receive is so warm and soft, the butter melted perfect. Just writing this makes me crave the bread but I'm on the road, back to Colorado. The pizza was great, crust wasn't hard or rough, toppings were tasty.

We've been wanting to try Del's for a while, and we weren't disappointed!! The pizza and service was awesome!! Next time we're gonna try some lasagna, because we're definitely going back! Oh, and the rolls are also worth the trip!

Great place. Free bread before dinner is awesome. Pizza is great with a thinner crust. Ask for one of a few tables with a limited ocean view. Fair beer selection but a little pricey. $7 for drafts and $5 for a bottle of lite. It also doesn't hurt that our waitress looked like Jessica Beil.

Took my family for some pizza and we weren't disappointed. We ordered wings, pepperoni pizza and their antipasto misto. Super yummy! Shout out to our server Mary...your awesome! Every staff member was on it...super attentive. Thanks for a delicious meal. We will be back again!

Great little pizza place on the main street with a lot of history and personality. Ordered two pizzas, one standard and one gluten free crust. The gluten free crust was the best I've had, hands down. Toppings we're also very high quality, and they had a decent beer selection.

This is the best pizza in the country. I travelled all the way from college station TX to taste it and it was worth every mile!!!

Their fettucinni alfredo was delicious! Best I ever had! And the basket of several little round warm dinner rolls with honey butter were awesome. Our server, Mary was fantastic! I will return there when I'm at Pismo Beach again!

I really enjoyed eating here, our server was amazing, and they don’t advertise that they have vegan options but they do! When we asked our server he was happy to tell us about the vegan options they have. The pizza base, pasta, and marinara sauce are vegan, and it’s not on the menu but they have vegan cheese! I’d highly recommend coming here for a meal if you’re in Pismo Beach 😊

Medium Mama Del pizza, hot wings (extra sauce), cheese ravioli with meat sause, 4 meatballs (off the ala carte menu), rolls with honey butter $63. 1st time to this new location (Saturday feb 23, 2019 1:45pm) take out order was ready to go when promised, nice new simple restaurant, clean and inviting. Staff accurate and very friendly. Pizza was great, wings best in town, ravioli bland but tasty and filling. Meatballs good but a little salty, clearly homemade, sauce tangy meaty and quite good. Would definitely go back.2ND VISITApril 11, 5pm not busy, Hubby had Lasagna said "For $18. the portion was too small." "Tasted decent, wouldn't order it again, hardly any meat, not enough ricotta, worth around $9."

My family shared Father's Day tonight at Del's 6/21/20. We all had a wonderful evening, yet there was something that we overheard that isn't appropriate while dinning at an establishment. While a customer was picking up food at the takeout window inside, she left and the employees (2 young guys) who helped her made some snide comments about her. It was odd because they all seemed to be having a good time, and were singing and enjoying. No one wants to hear employees talking bad about a customer that left. Kind of made the night sour.
